I prefered the first season because I like Tim O'Conner (Dr. Huer). How about you?

Yeah,I love season one.But season two had some good stuff too.
But not on that spaceship I hated that.

I guess I liked season one better, but I wasn't exactly crazy about it either.

The interesting thing to note is that in pretty much all instances where a show drastically changes things—change too many things too fast—it ends up being cancelled either right away or at most given one more season to fix things and then cancelled; so that last season with all the changes ends up being the last season.

Season One by far. The first season was fun, the second season was rather dull. I didn't care for most of the changes from Season One to Season Two.I really enjoyedDr. Huer and Princess Ardala!

I will have to give a nod to season 1 for several reasons. I really don't have any minusses for season 1. I will list my plusses and minusses for each season.
Season 1 Plusses:Wilma's tight clothing,Dr. Huer, Dr. Theoplis, Twiki, Buck, Wilma and her body!, Ardala andher body!,Cane, great guest stars,
Season 2 Plusses:Buck, Hawk, Wilma, Twiki-only when he had his original voice, Dr. Goodfellow, good guest stars again
Season 2 minusses:Twiki's voice was different and annoying at the start of the season, the ship wasugly, Creighton was rude, Asimov was ok, but he's noHuer, only 13 episodes, no Ardala, Wilma only wore tight spandexin two scenes.
Overall I love both seasons, but there are minusses in the second year. The perfectshow wouldbe season one format and adding Hawk.Hawk mightbe my favorite characteron the show.
As a kid Iloved seeing ErinGrey's body being showcased. Itwas a shame they put her in a skirt in the second season.

First season was definitely the best of the two. The second season was just a Battlestar Galactica rip-off. They should have stuck with the original premise.

As a 13 or 14 year-old at the time, I definitely thought season 1 was more fun and more entertaining, overall a better, easier show to watch (especially with all the hot women in spandex and revealing outfits). Season 2 was a rip-off, but I thought of it more as a rip-off of Star Trek. I don't remember watching more than 3 or 4 of the second season episodes the 1st time around. I saw all of season 2 recently on cable and my impression was confirmed.

I enjoyed both seasons as I was in Jr High and I was happy with all this show had to offer. They should not have just changed how the show was, maybe lead to to leaving earth, I think they could have done both really, some time on the searcher and some on the Earth.

Yes, indeedy-do! Although, my personal favorites among the non-Ardala episodes from Season 1 would have to be "Planet of the Amazons" and "Space Vampire." The former, because it had the most un-credited space babes. And, the latter because of the eponymous Vorvon. I mean; come on! Who wouldn't get a campy kick out of a soul-sucking monster who resembles the mutant love-child of an Asgard and a Ferengi?

Three honorable mentions for "Best Non-Ardala Episode" would have to go to: "Buck's Duel To the Death;" "Twiki Is Missing;" and "The Plot To Kill A City" (parts 1 and 2).
