Buck and Hawk are sent to a space station to pick up the survivors of a planetary disaster and transport them to a new home. Before departing, Buck rescues a young woman from a group of Dorian thugs. Later, while enroute to the planet, the Searcher is attacked by a Dorian craft, which demands that the woman be returned for the murder of a warlord's son. As the Dorians persist and subject the Searcher and its passengers to a severe pounding, the refugees begin to rebel, insisting that the woman be turned over. Eventually, Buck discovers that truth about the woman and the startling reason why the Dorians always wear what at first appear to be merely ceremonial face masks.moreless

      ADD TRIVIA
      • The Dorian launch bay showed in the beginning was actually the old set for the Battlestar Galactica Viper launch bays (Another Glen Larson show) the triangle shaped hatchways with the notches for the Viper wings are plainly visible in several shots.

      • Koldar appears to be the same age as his son (and all the other Dorian males). Apparently, the fact that they are all identical is not just superficial.

      • It's never really explained why all the Dorians have the same faces. Koldar mentions a mutancy but that doesn't really explain why they would have the same face since by definition, mutations cause differences. Furthermore, we only see the men; no other female Dorians were present in the episode, although it can be assumed that they all share a face as well.

      • In the passenger cabin, the door to the hallway that leads to the rest of the "Searcher" is in the same wall, albeit a few feet ahead, as the door to the docking port. This is an awfully awkward, if not physically impossible design.

      ADD NOTES
      • Except for the season premieres, cliffhangers (the first half of two-parters), and this episode, every single episode ended in the same way: a happy ending (everything working out), a group hanging out together, someone making a joke which causes everyone to laugh, and Buck in the final freeze-frame (often a close up).
