My favourite is Harsh Light of Day because I love it when its a great fight between him and Buffy and I love the story of the gem of amarra, where no vampire can die, i just wish they made a longer time with Spike using the gem and running riot, but still my favourite Spike episode, although people may not agree with me

Well if the criteria is simply "involving Spike", then surely Becoming, Hush, Restless and OMWF should be on there. But as for Spike-focused episodes (shouldn't LMPTM be on the poll?) Fool for Love is the best by a few bzillion miles.

Lovers Walk, Spike was entertaining throughout, his speech about love to Buffy and Angel, having hot chocolate with Joyce and getting Buffy into trouble outside the Magic Shop not to mention his singing at the end in the car, gotta love it!

For me it's a tie between Lover's Walk and Fool For Love.

"The Initiative" is my favourite Spike episode. I just love how Spike tries to bite Willow, but he can't because of the chip in his head. I love how Willow thinks he has performance anxiety. I just love how Willow and Spike interact in this episode.

I loved Spike in every episode, but my favorite would have to be the one where he declares his love to Buffy.

If I have to pick one, "Lover's Walk." It's just a perfect episode from beginning to end. Spike goes through every emotion in one episode.

I consider "Smashed" a Spike episode too, though he does share it with Willow and Amy.

Besides the romantic story in "Smashed," I absolutely love the scene where Spike goes to

visit the Trio about his chip. "Help me out here, Spock. I don't speak Loser." And the bit leading up to Spike yelling, "Warren!"

Too funny. Especially, when you know how much James Marsters is into Star Wars, Star Trek, Dr. Who and all things SciFi.

There are quite a few great Spike episodes, in particular season two's 'School Hard', season four's 'Harsh Light of Day' and season five's 'Fool for Love' my fav has to be 'Fool for Love' as it answers a lot of questions surrounding Spike's unchequered past, i.e. what his life was like before becoming a vampire and his first interactions with Drusilla and Angelus. The episode as a whole is very impressive the sets and costume were effective and brought atmosphere and depth to the scenes making it seem more believable. James Marsters simply shone throughout and his perfomance in this episode justprovedthat he is atalented and unreplaceble member of the Buffy cast

Pangs! hes hilarious in that episode and has the best spike line of the whole show: "A bear! you made a bear! undo it undo it!" i love spike in this episode because hes only just become harmless so hes still evil and not in love with buffy yet( i never really like spike loving buffy).

Honestly, mine is deffinately "Chosen." I know it's the final episode and all, but the way he sacrificed himself to save everyone and that moment he had with Buffy in the sunlight just gives me goosebumps everytime I think about it. It's when he really shined, no pun intended

    Guys you forgot about

    "Lies My Parents Told Me"

It's my personal favorite and it is not even mentioned in a pool. Maybe that is because I've watched Buffy after all TV hype was long over. As for all Buffy characters Spike is my best. Simply because it goes very long journey, how long this journey is we can see in"Lies My Parents Told Me". Then of course comes "Fool for Love".

I can't believe "Something Blue" hasn't been mentioned at all here! Obviously not the most serious episode in the Buffy & Spike arc, but definitely at the top for banter. "Well I'm not the one who wanted Wind Beneath My Wings for the first dance."
