the whole blood flow in vampires is confusing because if they are dead does the blood still flow through the body. if it does, this explains drunkness and high vampires but if not how does that explain vampires getting erections so they can have sex (Spike and Angel mainly).

one other question (which im not sure should be here or on the angel boards) are the beasts that Cordelia encounters in "Over the Rainbow" the Hellhounds from The Prom?

Answers to both would be appreciated, oh kind and wonderful forum-goers.

Since they can have sex and get drunk, you'd assume their blood does still somehow flow through their body. But because they are dead, like you said, that means their heart doesn't beat. Blood can only flow through the pumping action of the heart. And if the heart doesn't pump, blood can't flow. So really they shouldn't be able to get drunk or use their sex organs.

They're vampires. Not humans. I always held the belief that yes, they are technically corpses, but that there is a mystical magical something keeping them going, like their demon side. It has twisted up their biology so that they don't need to breathe or have a heartbeat to live. it could also follow that other body functions are just rewired, like things that affect the brain, bleeding and erections.

Err... OK. Like I said - Confusing! but i guess you guys/girls are right. Vampires are not Zombies - they are part-human and part-demon so perhaps that does have something to do with it.

As for the Hellhounds, i like the idea of them being the same as the ones in Over The Rainbow. Not only does that answer the question of where Tucker summoned them from but also points out Pylea is a Hell Dimension. It will be interesting to see what has happened to Pylea now Princess Cordelia is dead.

And we also know Tucker must of passed on he's Demon Skills to he's brother Andrew. They are both as lame as each other.

I really never liked the defining of "Hell Dimensions" in Angel especially, now that you bring it up.

    Angel Spoilers

Also, as for [More Angel Spoilers]
    ***SPOILER***
Also, who says Tucker had to summon them up from somewhere special? As we've seen on Buffy and Angel, all sorts of demons are sitting around the entire world.

I thought a hell dimension was a world with nothing but shrimp?

Couple of Questions (boy i am full of them) What was Snyder's role with the Hellmouth? we know he had knowledge of it but was he put at that school for a reason? and by who?

In season six Flooded Warren mentions Andrew used flying monkeys to attack the school play. has there been a book done on this? will there be a book done on this?

Perhaps they were. But I just find that trees don't seem to fit into that kind of dimension.

I never thought about that. But he is the kid of two vamps. Maybe he's tougher than your average bear.

Okay, I give up. I can't figure out how to do the stupid spoiler tags, so I won't even bother arguing about Connor, of all things, with you.

It's very simple. Just a jump to the left- and then a step to the right. With your hands on your hips... No, wait, I might be thinking of something else...
