Yeah, I think that's right. Especially as Spike says he was his Yoda. That's more mentorly than fatherly.

I understood it to mean that he was his indirect sire, because he sired Drusilla who sired Spike.

Why did Count Dracula need an invitation to enter Buffy's home? Surely the most powerful vampire on earth doesn't need one!

in Season Seven the uber-vamps didn't need one, it just crashed through the front door. So how come they are more powerful than Drac?

One possible theory maybe is that Dracula is half-human hybred and the Turok Han is a savage vampire with no tainted blood.

    Anyone shed any light?

I THINK the Turok-Han aren't technically vamps, they're kinda half breeds I think, so the rules don't apply.

And Dracula is still a normal vampire. He may be super sexy and can turn into a bat and stuff, but he's still just a vamp.

They said the Turok-Han was the vamp that vampires feared.

I liked how Rudolf Martin played in the movie Dark Prince before he was Drac on Buffy and Xander kept calling him Dark Prince. He would be great as Jean-Claude if they ever made a TV series of the Anita Blake books by Laurell K. Hamilton.

When Dracula showed up on Supernatural, I was so picturing Buffy's Drac, up till he showed on screen. He's the ultimate to me, even though he's kinda ugly, IMO.

Hallo Is there someone who can please assist me with a answer. In one of the episodes there is a scene where Buffy is walking into this club (think it was when she had that "attitude problem")and a song was playing. Does anybody please know the title of that song. Thank you.

If you mean when Buffy dances with Xander in season two's first episode 'when she was bad' than that song is called Sugar Water and it's by Cibo Matto.

That's the only scene i can think of Buffy going into a club with an "attitude". Hope i helped

I don't know about the US but the new edition of the BtVS DVDs (all 7 seasons together) came out last year in mid-to-late November. I remember because I was going to buy it but then the price kept fluctuating and I never got round to it.

I don't know about everyone else, but I love my bulky boxes. Makes it a more tactile experience.

Oh yes, I spent a lot of my own money on those DVDs, I so keeping them. Screw the slimmer versions, though they are pretty.
