Does the show get more serialized?

    I've watched the first four episodes. It seems like it's turning into the "monster of the week" show. I know the episodes are all sort of connected, but I wanted more of a connected story arc than what I've seen. I've heard the show gets better and less cheesy too, so I'm hoping that I'll enjoy it the more I watch.

    a lot more serialized, they still use the monster of the week concept at times but sometimes it generates something amazing like season 4's Hush. Just stick with it and look forward to shit going down soon in season 2.

    The "monster of the week" never fully goes away, but it does get more serialized and find a much better balance. You'll almost certainly feel that shift at some point in season two. That said, even the "monster of the week" episodes improve in quality quite drastically, with very few exceptions.

    Yes, definitely. Stick with it! Most people would agree that season 2 is where the show comes into itself.
