    Pick number one: Season 3

Why: It was the season that made me fall in love with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and I think everything from the set, to the characterizations were at its best.

    Pick number two: Season 5

Why: Two of the greatest episodes in the entire show, "The Body" and "The Gift" were in the show. Personally, I loved Glory as a big bad, she was pretty awesome. And I loved how the "Scoobies" seemed to stick up for Dawn, and they'd die just to keep "The Key" a secret.

    Pick number three: Season 1

Why: Though I see many may disagree with me, I loved this season. I loved how the characters developed, I loved how every episode was different and interesting. And I loved The Master.

    Pick number four: Season 7

Why: Though, like many others, I wasn't totally mad on the whole "potential" thing, I did like the final episode and I did like how a lot of new "Slayers" were introduced.

    Pick number five: Season 2

This season is mostly special thanks to Spike and Kendra's debuts, which were very interesting. I absolutely LOVED the episode School Hard, probably best episode in the season. As for Angel's demonic turn, I haven't seen it in years, but judging from what I remember it was pretty cool. Kind of sad how Buffy killed him, but it worked out... I think.

    Pick number six: Season 6

Why: The season in which Buffy comes back to life, the season in which Tara dies, the season in which sadness brews as Giles returns for a truly epic battle with Dark Willow. Only reason it's not the last pick, is because I liked a couple of episodes, and season 4's "Big Bad" sucked big time.

    Pick number seven: Season 4

Why: Lame "Big bad", didn't love Riley, Willow changes a lot (even though I did "like" the new Willow, she was never the same nerdy girl which was sad), and no more Cordelia. It needed some taking used to for such a huge Cordie fan, but I got by.

    those are intersting choices.

i agree with you about willow changing for the worse. that's a plus in the season seven collumn, we get good willow back, it's just a pity her face is inside kennedy at the time.

I think season 1 Willow and Season 7 Willow were very similar, she was going back to her nerdy ways and wasn't practising a lot of magic.

I agree about Kennedy, EVERYTHING was wrong there. First of all, Willow falling in love with Tara was special because it was like she turned her gay lol. And Tara should have always been Willow's only love, Kennedy was bad.

in season seven she said something like "not me at my at fifteen, coz hello spaz".

and i was just like, wow, no one talks about willow like that! i don't who you are!

the magic is heroine or whatever really bothered me, i love it when it was an addiction to power, i think that's so much more interesting, i was really looking forward to see how it played out then they're like oh yeah it's drugs now. greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.

The magic as drugs metaphor annoyed me too, but I can't see any other way they could have done it and have the season lead to the same place.

I just wish they hadn't had done it so literally, like with withdrawal symptoms and stuff.

7.season 6 is the worst season of btvs. buffy being with spike was so crazy to me i keep thinkin he tried to kill u lots of times why be with him,i hated the trio so weak,i hate the dark willow thing jus b/c buffy being fighting 7 yrs and somehow during a fight buffy almost loose i can see willow winning with magic but fighting come on get real, then the way tara died was just i felt so cuel, and during the end willow purpose of killing rest of the trio ended change to killing the world..i never watch this season it so bad..

Season 4 and Season 6 are my favourite seasons Tongue out

season four and six have some of the best stand alone episodes.

but my favorite season is still season two, least favorite?? umm seven or three... or five.

I think season five has the best stand alone episodes, while season two, IMO, has the worst.

four and six, and the second half of season two.

i can't even think of a stand alone ep in season five except maybe triangle, and the xander one, it's like they were all relevant.
