This is the current off-topic thread that is allowed here at the editor's discretion. Here you can talk with other fans about, well, anything! This thread started as The Christmas Turtle, but was re-named the The Old Church after approximately 500 posts had been posted. Over 500 posts later it was again renamed, this time to Glory's Apartment. Threads used to automatically lock at 500 posts, so this method keeps each RST relatively the same length. The idea is to keep changing the name every 500 posts then, each time becoming a "new" incarnation of the RST, though sometimes the name-changing is delayed.

Welcome to Glory's apartment! The great and splendrous Glorificus is not exactly happy about people intruding in her space like this, but she's going a bit mad anyway. I'd be worried that she'd take our sanity, but I'm fairly certain that happened long ago. Anyway, she doesn't seem to be here right now. Lucky for us! Help yourself to some of her delicious cocktails, maybe try on some of her designer clothes if you feel like it. So let's lay back on the couch or on the bed, get talking to each other, and whip a scabby minion until they bring us all we need!

My grandma is having a Christmas buffet brunch at a hotel again this year and my mom wants to know if I am going. I am not sure if I should go or not. My sisters are going, but I don't know if I want too...

Well, it is all up to you in the end. Sadly, if it were myself, I would decline simply because of the place not having vegetarian options. I would kindly point out that I do not ask everyone to revolve everything around me but I respect them and their choice to eat meat and likewise I ask for respect for the fact that I do not eat meat and say that as long as you exclude my choices, you exclude me.

But that is just me. Don't do what I would do. Do what you want to do.

Finally a new RST thread. That one was going on forever. I previously meant, planning something with the lions.

Well, they do have vegetarian stuff as well. They have pretty much everything. If it's food, they probably have it. It's a brunch with freaking sushi, lasagna, and a chocolate fountain, among other things. That is stuff you wouldn't find at a normal brunch, right? I bet they'd have plenty of vegetarian things.

Well, up to you what you wanna do. I would go on the side of no family myself. But my family sucks.

As for family, mine isn't that great either. Mostly mine is just awkward. And I hate how suddenly people who never care about you 364-365 days out of the year get the right to pretend to be so close with you with hugs and such.

Yeah me too. My fam's not too close until you get to the holidays, then you can't get away too fast.

I hate that too. I don't like people pretending to like me only when they have to see me just because we share some of the same DNA.

What do you think you will now?

I don't think I will go. But I will reserve final judgment for a little while.

Well, if you do decide to stay home, I will be gone for a couple of hours on that day, but not much more than that at all. So you will get lots of Holly. Too bad that don't have the anywhere wi-fi yet, otherwise I could just stay on here when I go.

During those hours I will mayhaps pop in Ark of Truth and/or Continuum.

Or the Christmas special of the Christmas Turtle and Tim drive around in Tim's awesome red sports car convertible while laughing at Santa because he has a creepy van and is not as cool as them.

That is the best Christmas special ever. They should replace all the other ones with that. I am so making a sequel to that if I ever become a successful enough writer to have that kind of creative freedom.

That would be awesome. I would watch it so many times.
