And list the times they have died. To clarify: turning into a vampire counts as dying. And alternate dimensions, dreams, anything else that was negated later still counts as dying.

Darla, hands down. Unless you count Dracula as well... but Darla comes close.

No way Dracula dies more. Even Buffy died more than he did if we're counting dreams, alternate realities, being a vamp, etc. And Angel died a ton if you count all those dreams Buffy had in early season three of killing him

It's definetly Buffy (Angel comes very close but Buffy's died one or two times more):

    Nightmares (turned into a vamp)
    Prophecy Girl (drowned)
The Wish (broke her neck in an alternate dimension)
The Gift (died and went to heaven)
Normal Again (died in the alternate reality/hallucination)
Villains (flat-lined during surgery so technically she was dead for a bit)

[oute]Normal Again (died in the alternate reality/hallucination[/qoute]

no she didn't. She simply went back into her delusion.

Nightmares, Wish, and Normal Again don't count.

    The winner is Darla:

She was turned into a vamp-1
    She got dusted-2
She came back and was turned into a vamp-3
and she died in the alley-4

Would Angel going to hell count as dying or no?

i think it would b/c usually going to hell means u died, but it was a hell dimension so it's a tricky one

I don't think that counts. He went to a hell demension, he didn't die. Say you really hated shrimp, so you transport yourself to the demension without shrimp, you didn't die.

yeah, in Darla, Angel, The Trial and Lullaby.
but you can count Inside out, sort of. To Connor she dies, by betraying her and killing the girl he sees Darla dead as well.

No. The reason why is because he's a vampire. You can't kill a vampire by stabbing him with a sword.

BUffy Did not die in her delusion. She simply sipped into a severe catatonic state, similar to a coma.

Bear in mind, I'm counting alternate dimensions, realities, dreams and vampires as deaths...and also deaths on Angel.

Buffy, I believe, has died 4 times, (Nightmares, Prophecy Girl, The Wish, and The Gift), 5 if you wanna count her flatlining in Villians.
Darla has died the most real time deaths: being sired, Angel, The Trial, Lullaby.
Angel has died , and I'm counting Becoming II, 6 times, also being sired, Surprise, Faith Hope and Trick, The Wish and Time Bomb.
Spike has died 3 times: being sired, Chosen, and Time Bomb.
Cordelia died twice, in The Wish and You're Welcome.
Willow and Xander were vampires in The Wish, so they were dead.
I think that's all I can remember right now, so I think Angel could be the winner...or Buffy....

Also if going to a hell dimension means that you die then Conner died.
