If there's already a topic like this one, just ignore. I went through the first ten pages and couldn't find it and I'm pretty sure that something's wrong with the search button.

Among the couples of BtVS which one do you think is the worst?

I'm personally not a fan of Bangel (or anything that involves Angel) and of Buffy with Riley. Giles and Joyce were funny in Band Candy but they're not a couple I would like to see more of and I guess that Willow/Kennedy is self explanatory. So, what do you think?

Bangel. I liked them in the first 2 seasons and I love the Buffy/Angelus dynamic but they just ruined it in S3. It just became repetitive whining and they broke up for what felt like 10 times.

Buffy/Riley were also terrible as were Willow/Kennedy.

Spuffy. They were horrible together and made no sense. And both characters changed. I used to like Spike, but he got really annoying when he was with Buffy.

I hated Xander and Willow. They weren't really together and only made them act weird around each other. Also if they would be a couple the show would do exactly what the viewer expects. What I like about BtVS is that it doesn't.

I voted for Willow/Kennedy, but very close in second place would be Spike and Buffy. Too nauseating by far! Yuck!

I chose Buffy and Riley. Couldn't stand them.

    I loved Giles and Joyce!

Willow and Xander, it was just painfully awkward and poorly executed throughout.

Incredibly difficult though it is to decide, as I predominantly hated all of the couples listed, I had to go with Buffy/Spike in the end..

I thought Spike was a great 'evil' character in Season 2 and 3 but when he fell in love with Buffy it just made him sickening.. I much preferred Spike with Dru..

As to the other listed 'Worst Couples', a close second and third would have to be Willow/Kennedy and then Giles/Joyce.. I never liked Kennedy and hated her pairing with Will, particularly as I loved Tara.. And I adore Giles but really don't like Joyce and 'Band Candy' was not one of my favourite episodes..

I liked Willow/Xander for one episode (S2E1: When she was Bad) but hated the cheating incident.. I didn't mind Buffy/Riley, I was indifferent to him and the pairing was pretty boring compared to Buffy's other romances so I'm neither here nor there with that one..

Willw/Kennedy. For starters they were to soon after Will/Tara, particularly considering Willow's reactions and actions she took after Tara died. But even taking all that out of ther equration Kennedy was a big brat not only in general but to Buffy.

Spuffy! I can't express how much I hated that couple. It made NO SENSE at all why they would get together. Buffy came back from the dead and was depressed. I get that. But you're telling me you're more depressed than when your mom died and you found out your sister wasn't real? Seriously? And of all people, Spike?

Oh and Xander/Anya. I think it was just because I found Anya extremely annoying and useless.

Contrary to everyone else I actually like Riley/Buffy. Buffy finally found a shot a normal life, a guy that knew and accepted her Slayer abilities, and a stable boyfriend...at least for a little while.

She never loved Spike. The only reason she said it was because he was about to be immolated at the Hellmouth.

That's your opinion. You're entitled to it, however, I personally think she did love him. This topic is pretty much divided, and I've discussed it on here many times before, so I'm not gonna get into it again now.
