Camp Highlander is broken up into 3 different 3 week sessions: Session A, Session B, and Session C. Campers can stay for either 3, 6, or 9 weeks. This episode marks the ending of session A.

Andy and Jon are friends from home coming to camp together, as well as Connor and Everett.

At the opening campfire you also see Justin from session 2 as well, it is has been said that this first episode did that on purpose as a way to cover both campfires.
