I remember a few summers ago when Burn Notice first premiered. It was the talk of the town, it was so fresh and so original, and now it just seems to have lost a bit of its luster. Burn Notice follows a simple formula: Michael uses a fake name to fool someone, they find out his name but they still let him help them, and together they beat some bad guys. Tonight, they followed that formula to a tee.

The show is still worth watching, in fact I wish it would get some Emmy love for a change, but this is not one of the better episodes.moreless

Michael talks with Vaughn to get a meeting with Simon. Vaughn denies Michael and Michael kicks him out Vaughn gets mad and tells Michael there are bigger storms coming and he is going to remember this.

Two FBI agents stop by Maddie's house to see Michael and asked him for help off the books. James bailey is wanted dead by a Turkish syndicate. Bailey's testimony is vital and they need him but are busy. They have one lead, a license plate number. FBI agents Harris and Lane are asking for a favor this time. Vaughn stops by to talk to Fiona about Jesse porter.moreless

  • Really solid episode. Great secondary story and character.

Second watch even better than the first. This is such a solid episode. I REALLY like Cole and the actor who portrayed him. REALLY a lot. I also think he has an interesting story. I personally think his story is interesting enough for a spinoff. Like he goes off to Antigua to think. Thinks a lot about Michael and gets caught up in a "helping" scenario of some kind and then, because of Michael's intervention, goes in to a similar line of work fighting for the little guy. I can't believe anyone wouldn't think this was a stellar episode. Michael and company were in form. I think Michael and Fiona's relationship have reached a new level of maturity. Jesse fit well and haters need to get over it. He's in and he fits. Finally, Ms. Reynold's has a first name! This was a classic BN ep, with, IMO new maturity on many levels.moreless

    • Fiona: (to Vaughn) You see, Michael wants to believe that you're different. But I know nothing's changed. It's the same old tune you bastards have been playing since day one. Do what we want or die. You just...sing it a little differently. Edit
    • Vaughn: You know how willing Michael is to let the wrong voices get in his head. You don't want to see Michael become that kind of monster. Fiona: He would never let that happen. I would never let that happen. Vaughn: It's happening already, darling. Michael is an addict. He can't resist this life, even though he knows how it's gonna end. Edit
    • Fiona: I have faith in you, Michael. I may hate who you're associating with, but I have to believe... Michael: We see this investigation through. We bring these people down. It should be enough to get Jesse back in. Fiona: I hope so. Edit
