The show is great but like so many reviewers have noticed, something is off about the show.

I dunno. I mean, another Carla? Michael trying hard to juggle helping people, doing the mysterious' handler's jobs and poking around with the team, searching for clues to what the big bad wants with him.. it sounds just like season 2 all over again.

Michael and Fi are doing just fine. They love each other, sleep together every now and again but recently, they are not focusing on showing more than that.

Surely, if Mike gets his name cleared and called back into action, the show is over. He'll be relocated to another country and bye bye Burn Notice so they have to keep him at bay, or better yet, keep him burned. But recycling old ideas is not the way to go..

  • Boy, talk about failure not being an option. Michael must deal with a setup by Gilroy to steal some files. His old drug buddy from downstairs shows up asking for help for his cousin who is a little slow. Mike and the team take the case on.moreless

The ending felt a little rushed as everything seemed to come to a crashing end, but overall a very smooth three plot episode.

We have Gilroy and his big plans. We have a fairly dangerous kill anyone who's around crew that is using the cousin to pull a job, and finally Madeline is getting an award for her good Samaritan work in the neighborhood and she wants Michael there. Even though it's in the middle of two jobs he's trying to pull off at once and the only reason she is getting it is for reporting three stolen cars Michael has had her report!

I would say Gilroy is a little harsh as my first line of the summary suggests. These guys are a little trigger happy. Michael does not allow collateral damage and it was interesting to see how he would deal with that.

His former drug dealing neighbor from down below his place returns, but this time with a job for Michael. His big and slow cousin has gotten himself in a little jam and Michael, Sam, and Fi must do there usual job of improvising to get things done. Why is it people don't listen to good sound advice? In the end Michael comes through but you have to wonder when and if one of them might get nicked on one of these jobs. Michael does what he can to get to the ceremony and Madeline makes him leave before she gets her award. Sometimes I think she's just testing him and he generally comes through for everyone when possible.

I love how Fi sort has become his conscious whenever he thinks he will walk away from a job she makes him be a good guy. It's what really drives this show. Fiona is great blowing things up. Imagine a girlfriend with that skill set who looks like that? Very entertaining like always and a lot of fun. Thanks for reading...moreless

I like the increased relationship with Michael and Madeline that has been going on in the past few episodes. Sharon Gless is a TV veteran and it makes sense to make better use of her than to just have her there smoking in the background or making an occasional wisecrack about Michael's line of work.

This episode had some really cool effects, fires and explosions for a USA Network show, but something has just been off about the last few episodes. The magic of Burn Notice is just not there and it's ratings are on the decline. Hopefully cable's best action show can turn things around.moreless

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Michael: (voiceover) Whether it's a drug compound in the mountains of Colombia or a tropical estate in Miami, nothing says success like a lot of land. Of course, the more land someone has, the easier it is to hide out and do surveillance. Lush landscaping may be beautiful, but it's hardly secure.

    • Sugar: (bleeding heavily) Sorry, bro. I'm staining your leather.
Michael: You better stay alive. 'Cause I'm gonna make you clean that later!

    • Michael: You're getting the "Take a Bite Out of Crime" award?
Madeline: It's for citizen crime fighters.
Michael: This just happened out of the blue?
Madeline: Well, I mean you know that I'm the neighborhood watch captain for my block. And it didn't hurt that I called in three stolen cars in the last two months.
Michael: You mean the cars I asked you to call in? The ones I stole?
Madeline: They're giving me a plaque. Now, I'm allowed to have one guest at the reception, but you have to dress up because the Chief of Police is gonna be there.
Michael: Mom, I can't be in a room full of cops giving you an award for reporting crimes I committed.
Madeline: Michael, I'm being honored. Do you want me to be the only person there with no family? I mean it's not like I can ask Nate to fly in from Vegas. (Michael's head drops) Noon on Saturday.
