Another entertaining episode of Burn Notice where we have a number of plots intersecting. The current main bad guy of the moment, Gilroy is planning something to do with a private charter plane that is coming from South America, stopping in Miami to refuel, and then flying on to Poland. Micheal wants to know what's on the plane so he goes after someone in the Polish administrative office and that becomes sticky. Fi must con the man into thinking she's an American operative and pay him for the information so Michael needs some cash.

So comes the main plot of tonight's show. Sam has a case where a Fashion Designer thinks that one of her VP's is cooking the books and taking some of the money. When she is killed and the VP is made to look the patsy Mike, Sam, and Fi must save him and get the killers caught.

An entertaining story that has a few interesting twists and turns that we are becoming use to with Burn Notice. Unfortunately I think I would have given this a higher score a season or so ago. Things are getting a little complacent and it will be interesting to see when they really mix it up as they are two episodes away from the finale for this season.

Charming, well produced, great acting, everything we've come to expect from one of the premiere series on television. Thanks for reading...
  • Entertaining.

It seems like Burn Notice has been a bit stagnant as of late. Gilroy is just not that great a villain, an area this show had previously excelled at (Tricia Helfer was on Battlestar Galactica, there has to be some way to have her character on this show resurrected) and the season has just been missing something. I'm sorry but the on again off again relationship with Fiona is not enough for me.

But tonight's episode was definitely the odd man out as it was thoroughly enjoyable. The plot was fast-moving and had a solid number of twists, not overkill, but just enough to keep you guessing.

Plus, Sam Axe + models = comedy. Nuff said.

Good episode tonight. Too bad it went against the Olympics.
