Michael helps a former wheel man get out of the game, but first Michael has to pretend he's a safe cracker to the heist boss in order to get the job done. This was a great case always love the setup when they get them in the end it's always unique lol you never know how they'll do the setup so its well written. Michael finally found Carla hideout and was bout to go in until he received a call from his side mission that he needs to be there. After the mission he goes back and Carla has booked up and left him surprises, this was very predicable I saw this coming a mile away. Personally I think they need more help 3 person team isn't cutting it anymore, your messing with bigger fish now. I'm very surprise they haven't realize this, even having his brother to help made a huge difference in the case and to show that they need at least another person. If they had at least one additional person than one could've stayed on Carla's place 24/7 at least to tell Micheal," that she found him out and looks like she's on the move". Michael say,"Ok, I figure that were dealing with a pro I made a mistake, trail her and keep your distant". Keep something constant instead of these cat and mouse games are a little to much especially when their predicable and I'm not even CIA.

    Brilliant episode as always.

This one was very well written. All about Trevor, an ex criminal who used to be a wheelman (driver for thefts etc) and who had just got out of prison. Since being in prison, he has a son and family so has promised to turn his life around, but people from his past want him to come back and do a big jewel heist.

Trevor pretty much has no option but to do it otherwise his family and himself will be in danger.

This is where Michael comes along to the rescue and defeats an almost impossible situation.

Definately one of the better episodes this season so a definate 10/10.

A man named Trevor approaches Michael and asks him for help. Trevor was a former wheelman and is forced to do a heist. Michael tries to stop the heist from happening, but eventually has to join the heist as a safe-cracker. In the end, the heist leader is killed by his own men...I loved the manipulation. The story in this episode was interesting, but nothing great. I loved that Sam was asked to marry and he was already married! Haha! I liked his relationship with his "lady friend." Michael finally thinks he found his handler, but she just plays with him. Overall, great character episode with a solid story.

Michael helps an ex-con. An old boss forces the ex-con to participate in one last job. Michael is reluctant to help but seems to once again have his heart strings pulled. This makes the show much more then just another spy show. Michael also begins tracking his handler learning more information about her operation and testing her security. Michael employs simple tactics while attempting to cancel out his clients job. Which of course gets more complex as Sam picks a fight with the crew member they are trying to get out of the picture. Which is needless to say hilarious. The job still isn't canceled due to the fact that it was being planned for way too long. Michael of course inserts himself into the crew. This episode starts out fast but slows down. Sam's love life gets a little more complicated. Mike as a safe cracker was interesting. The cover identity's are always fun to see. The tension is very thick and is actually believable. It was interesting too see the outside of Michael's place. Sam was married before as Veronica pops the question. Overall I enjoyed this episode.
  • An ex-con enlists Michael's help in breaking away from a group of bank robbers out of love for his son. This is a charity case for Michael (who's known to have a soft spot for neglected children) as he simultaneously tracks Carla.

One can always gauge the real cult popularity of a product within the level of analysis it receives by intelligent people. While Burn Notice finds its place in television history, we - the viewer get to watch something really inspired and special evolve. There's some obvious passion throughout the entire production.

I think this episode really highlights what the series is about. So many excellent moments. Sam shutting Fi's mouth moments after confessing a secret. Fi cranking a power drill while layering all kinds of invisible sexual tension between her and Michael. Michael stepping up his game with a bit of bad-ass energy. The car. The excellent supporting actors. The stakes. The editing. Let's not forget about the unbelievable, world-class editing on this show. Let's not forget the brilliant cutaway as we watch a full-on, cold blooded assassination without actually seeing it. This is superb television and inspired professionals at the top of their game. Hats of. OD

The show is really beginning to repeat itself. Try to infiltrate a member of the bad guys team and then find a way to sabotage the mission in order to get the guy who is in too deep out of trouble. I can handle it the first couple of times, and even this time was okay, but they need to start coming up with different individual cases if this is going to turn into a multi-season show formula. They havent changed much from season one, but thats fine by me since season one was only 13 episodes long. Closer to the end of this season I want to see the writers taking more risks in there storytelling and stop using the same old formula. Sam broke up with his girlfriend, yet I was left unaffected. I don't care about Sam or Fi unless they are interacting with Weston, something I didnt notice until the end this episode. Overall, average episode from the second season. Writers need to step it up.

Loved this episode. I could see the sexual tension between Michael and Fiona building. I hope it leads to something. I was a little shocked with Verionica asking Sam to marry her and then Sam being already married. I did not like that they broke up. I feel though that she might be back. She adds humor to Sam (not that he needs help!) even if she is mentioned most of the time and not actually in a scene.

Michael was wonderful as always. He's so smart and smooth. You never see him unsure of himself. You want him to find out who burned him, but then what.....

Can't wait to see where it all leads.....

Burn Notice is your solution to overdramatized hour long programs or nonsensical, hackneyed comedies that plague cable stations during summer months. The refreshing, entertaining and borderline exhilirating show is one of TV's finest offerings and is really starting to pick up steam.

This was a clearly a filler episode that barely advanced the Carla storyline forward, but it was still a fun ride up until the very end. You have to wonder how Michael, Sam and Fiona come up with these outrageous, outlandish schemes to get people out of trouble, but asking that question will only lead to you overanalyzing a fine program.

Burn Notice is doing a great job with the season long story arc about Carla, and when the payoff comes all the anticipation and waiting will have been worth it. I've seen rumblings across the net about the show being in a sophmore slump but such thoughts are ludicrous and laughable. The characters are all great as ever and although a few episodes may come off as musty and timeworn, they are probably better than anything else all week.

Whether it's Michael playing a character to fool someone, Fiona wanting to blow something up or Sam complaining about what he has to do on the next mission, you can be assured that if you tune into USA Network Thursdays at 10 you're in for a treat.
  • Michael helps a wheelman who reformed from being part of a heist. He also has a line on Carla.

This one was well done. No distractions from the mother or brother, but straight ahead episode. Michael helps an excon who is trying to stay straight from going back to jail. The plan and execution of the rip off was well done, and so was the whole reversal of fortune for the jewel theives.

The other part of the episode was that they followed the mail back to Carla's office and were in place to do some snooping when the robbery went down. After all was said and done, Carla moved on and rubbed Michaels nose in it. Nice twist. Well done
