Lol this was an excited episode Sam needed to help an old friend out and need Michael help to do it. Sam friend gets a little cozy with Michael mom and started a thing together, Michael also said some truths about leaving Fiona a year ago because of his cover being blown. She forgives him, but where does that leaves them now to early to tell. Show are great, just want a little more drama into the mix that paints a big picture on whats going on or the whole purpose of the show.
  • Please, can his brother just leave yet??

Ugh, I really do not like the character of Mike's brother. And overall, I did not like this episode much. It was boring in some parts, annoying in others. When Mike's mom and the guy snuck out was an especially "duh!" moment. The whole boat thing didn't really go over well with me. I mean, I got it... but I didn't like it. Thouh it was nice to see Mike's Mom finding love again. But basically, this episode was lackluster. I really hope next week's episode delivers; it does look pretty promising in the previews I've been seeing on USA. Hopefully.

Cool episode, liked the humorous parts, there were quite a few(Michael busting the CSS agent) Also liked Michael and Fi scenes, moreso than i liked them before.

    WHAT I DIDNT LIKE:

the case was cliché , give me the money , no, you give me, or this and that will happen.. blah blah blah

also, Michael's brother has to go. The mother's far more than enough (she already tends to get a little annoying)

maybe instead of the emphasis on the family Sam and Fiona could get a little more screen time. AAANYWAYS , bit below the previous few episodes, but still entertanining. Hopefully the season's endgame will give us a little more on the high concept storyline.
  • good episode...

Michael helps Sam's friend steal a boat and give it to someone. However, there turns out to be money in the boat and the people he's supposed to give the boat to are ex-cops and are threatening Sam's friend's daughter. I love the end when he just burned all of the money. I don't understand why he didn't keep more for himself. I guess that is his character. Anyways, the CSS guy is still trying to get Michael to stop looking for who burned him. I really like their character interactions. Overall, another solid episode of Burn Notice. I didn't like the story as much in this episode, but I still got all of the great character interactions that I have come to love.

This was a great episode. We got a little bit of everything that you could ask for in this show. Micheal and Fiona had some words about their past relationship which may or may not spring up again sometime here in a future episode. They have been hinting at it for a long time but other then some little kisses and casual flirting from Fiona they have not really gotten anywhere with that. The case in this one was good as well. It did get a little boring near the end with all the "Give me my money" from both sides. The bridge scene could have been a little better considering it was supposed to be the high point of the episode. However, that was overshadowed by the larger case of Weston finding out the identity of the CSS agent that tormented his mother and is following him trying to get him to turn off the Burn Notice search. This episode had everything that the last episode was missing and is one of the better episodes of the season, I think.
  • So damn good.

I'm a huge fan of Burn Notice. I love the whole damn thing. I was happy to see the series take a turn for the middle class after so many episodes of high class Mercedes Chases and Penthouse Wire Tapping. Now this episode doesn't go whole hog, just a little foray into non-Armani Suits. Michael takes the time to wear a 'beater and talks a little thick (it was like a revisit to Nicholas Cage in Con Air). All in all it was a good episode.

So Far Burn Notice has excelled in one area that many shows don't pay attention to. It's something that may be so subtle that paying it direct attention may kill a series. I'm talking about developing two or more plots in a single episode. Of course every show does this, but never ever very well. Usually at best a series will develop one story line for 50 and then in the last 10 highlight what story we'll be looking at next week. As far as I can tell Burn Notice puts everyone else to shame by running the plots into a finely woven mesh, sometimes we're seeing two or even three plots developing on screen in the same scene. Very Well Played.

    I love it!
  • Guns + intrigue + comical family issues = Great entertainment.

A great episode! It had everything I have come to expect from this series. It had a good amount of action with Michael trying to protect Sam's friend from smuggling Jamaicans. Plenty of intrigue with the CSS agent trying to get Michael to back off of trying to find out who burned him. And the comical relief I have come to love emanating from Mike's relationship with his mother. The scene where Michael asks where Virgil is and his Mom says in her room was particularly funny. It'll be interesting to see if the CSS agent comes back I suspect that we have not seen the last of him. And the character development between Fiona and Michael is a good plot line that I hope the writers progress slow but steady. All in all an excellent showing.
  • Well fan of spy you will be happy to folly micheal, fiona and the rest of the team on intrigue weeks after weeks.

Wow from day 1 I knew this series was a number one in my list of favorites, it's always a pleasure to watch a series knowing you are going to like until the end. The writer of this series should think about the other season which I hope will comes. I would be sad if there is only one season, to many times I've seen good show taking of the air being replace by too many reality shows. Well, for me reality show are not a reflect of our society they select people by their appearrance and not by what's inside. Sure, it's fun for people to watch nice woman on bikini, but it's not reality where is the normal life people. Stop calling these show reality, because it's far from being true.

  • As usual, a fun, fast paced installment of tv entertainment.

What do you do if the shady guy you are helping out is feeling up your Mama? First, you help save his ass and then you make sure he has to leave town in order to stay alive:-)

Michael still manages to juggle his pursuit of the who and why of his burn notice while trying to make a living in Miami. Both worlds collide when the new talent in town, coming to replace the FBI watchdogs from before, makes it personal when he ransacks Michael's mother's home. Now, as a dutiful son he has to make some cash to help refurnish her house.

Luckily, Sam has a friend in need of support in repossessing a boat. Naturally it all turns out a little more difficult. So, while Sam's friend gets up close and personal with Michael's mum, he is busy staying ahead of bad cops and money smugglers who want to kill each other as well as him. Still, he also finds the time to find out more about what the new guy in town knows about the reason of his burn notice. And Fiona finds a way to use their being bugged to get him to tell her why he left her when he did years ago.

In the end, Michael, finds out the name of his new watcher, gets rid of the threat of the week as well as of his mother's new paramour.

Now, as I said, the show continues to be fast paced and entertaining enough to gloss over any too fantastic or coincidental schemes. It just sweeps you away for some uncomplicated fun time. What I do wonder is what the role of Sam's new girlfriend in all this might be. Is Jason Bly just the obvious front while they (whoever 'they' are) have sent in the new girlfriend as the real mole? I mean come on, Sam getting a charmer like that so easily? Sounds fishy to me.
