Volume 4 of the Burst Angel DVD set features Chris Bevins (ADR Director) with voice actors Monica Rial (Jo) and Caitlin Glass (Takane). The story arc is one of the few times in Funimation history where voice actors were allowed to use Southern hick accents to represent the Western region of Osaka. Many of the old school Dragonball Z voice actors participated, including Chris Sabat (Piccolo/Vegeta/etc - Iriki), Mike McFarland (Master Roshi - Leo), Stephanie Nadolny (Little Goku/Gohan - biker girl), Cynthia Cranz (Chi Chi) and John Burgmeier (Tien).

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Iriki: Hail to the King, baby!
Iriki references the hero Ash from the movie Army of Darkness. ADR Director Chris Bevins mentions in the actor commentary that they couldn't pass up such an opportunity to throw that in.
