From C-SPAN interview, Former President George W. Bush comments on advice he'd give to his brother, former Governor Jeb Bush, should he decide to run for the White House. "My first advice is run. But he's probably not going to take it. He may decide to run, but not because I'm asking him- saying "you oughta run." My advice would be surround yourself with good people, create an environment in which they don't feel like they need to walk in and pander to you, but they can walk in and give you their frank opinions. You know, I tell people in audiences one of the- a key component of a good leader is someone who understands what he doesn't know, and then finds people and places them on a team- who do know what he doesn't know. And oftentimes power probably blinds people, they say I wouldn't be powerful if I didn't know anything, well they don't. But Jeb- he doesn't need my advice on that. He was a great governor of Florida and he knows how to run an administration." Watch the complete interview Wednesday, April 24 at 10:00 p.m. ET on C-SPAN.moreless
