This episode is fantastic. So many twists.... And how can you not feel sorry for Meriet? The compassion of Cadfael is terrific. I really liked this episode.
This was my introduction to Cadfael. I haven't seen any other episode yet, but I definitely want to. I've always admired Derek Jacobi's work. And Christien Anholt is fantastic in one of his most versatile roles in his career.
It's just a terrific episode. Everyone acted very well, though I wanted the abbot to have more sympathy, but I guess it was the times.
See this episode. It's fantastic. I plan to see more myself.
