  • Not your typical Cagney & Lacey, but so good...

    I was very surprised by this episode, which most definitely was not the usual Cagney & Lacey; but it was really a lot of fun to watch. I love that in almost every episode of C&L there is some humor woven in, if even as minor as a "give me a break" look from Christine or a raised eyebrow; but this episode is actually almost all comical, with no real crime in it at all. The kitchen scene between Christine and Mary Beth had me laughing out loud; that scene alone is worth watching this particular episode! For a change of pace, I thoroughly enjoyed this but certainly would not want the show to change to this type of "mode" with any regularity. It was fun, but to maintain the integrity of excellence always exhibited on C&L, they need to stay with the tried and true dramas, with a bit of humor mixed in.moreless
