New opening sequence featuring scenes from the new season and highlighting the new fantasy scenes. Additionally, Caillou can sometimes be seen wearing a new cap that is red with a blue brim.
The puppet segments featuring Gilbert, Teddy, Rexy and Deedee are no longer present. The puppets can now only be seen occasionally in the segments at the end of the program in which one character talks about him/herself, or another character. Additionally, all segments featuring real-kids are removed from the program.
Caillou sings a song titled "Sailing" in-between the second and third stories.
Caillou directs a matching card game at the end of the show. The game is first played by remembering the positions of three sets of two cards and then two sets of three cards.
Caillou talks about his Grandma at the end of the show.
Annie Bovaird, who first provided the voice of Caillou in Caillou's Holiday Movie, takes over the role on the series. She replaces Jaclyn Linetsky, who unfortunately passed away in a car accident.
Caillou: You like butterflies, don't you, Rosie? Rosie: Uh-huh! Rosie like flutterby!
Caillou: (singing) Sailing, sailing, over the ocean blue / Sailing, sailing, come and join Caillou's crew. (spoken) I hope nobody gets seasick.
Caillou: What's in the bag, Grandpa? Is that the surprise? Grandpa: The surprise? No, these are just my dirty socks. I thought you could wash them for me. Caillou: Grandpa! You didn't bring your dirty socks!
Leo: Come on, let's go on the slide. Caillou: Oh. Narrator: Caillou thought the slide looked a little scary.
