In the "Caillou's Christmas Eve" segment, Caillou imagines joining Santa on his sleigh to help him out. In a song available only on the Caillou's Holiday Movie soundtrack titled "Riding in Santa's Sleigh," Caillou imagines much the same thing.
Caillou talks about both his Grandma and his Grandpa at the end of the episode.
Caillou hosts a matching object game at the end of an episode. The idea is match a person with an object that will help them accomplish their goal, for example --- a police office with a whistle to direct traffic.
Caillou and his Grandpa sing a song titled "A Helping Hand" in-between the second and third stories.
"George" is also the name of Caillou's rarely-mentione and never-seen imaginary friend.
George: You're just like your Grandpa. He was always playing tricks on me when he was little.
Caillou: What are these for? Grandpa: We're going to play croquet. You and I can be a team. Narrator: Caillou didn't know how to play croquet and he was too embarrassed to ask. He felt a little shy around Grandpa's friend, George.
Miss Martin: You know, you can only help people when they want some help.
Narrator: Caillou wanted to help people, but he especially wanted to direct traffic. And he knew just what he needed for that.
Caillou: I thought policemen just caught bad guys.
Caillou: I'm pilot Caillou and we're taking off on a flight to the park.
Mommy: You are my first patient today. I see you've had quite a tumble. So first I'll have to examine the wound and check for broken bones. Narrator: Caillou thought it was funny that Mommy was pretending to be a doctor.
Rosie: Caillou fall down! Caillou: Ow. It hurts. Mommy! Ow. Ow. Rosie: Boo-boo!
