  • Quotes

    • Leo: (reciting his made-up poem) Roses are red / I sleep in my bed / And this is my head.

    • Narrator: "Ring Around the Rosie" was Caillou's little sister's favorite song. Caillou decided he didn't want to sing it because it was a song for little, little kids.

    • Leo: I know the beginnings of lots of rhymes. I just don't know any endings.

    • Ms. Martin: Aren't you going to stop marching?
      Kids: No.
Caillou: I wish we were in a real marching band.

    • Narrator: Caillou couldn't take his eyes or ears off the marching band. The music made him want to march too.

    • Billy: Drums are for grown-ups, not little kids. Sorry.

    • Billy: I'm learning how to play the drums so I can be in a rock band.
Caillou: (observing pictures of rock musicians) Ha ha ha. They dress funny.
      Billy: They dress cool.
      Caillou: Hmm...
Clementine: Ha ha. (whispers in Caillou's ear) I think they dress funny too.
