Cain's Hundred

In a bit casting irony here, Ray Walston and Myron McCormick both played the role of Luther Billis in the classic musical South Pacific. Walston played the role in the film version while McCormick played it on Broadway.

Ray Walston, who plays a prosecuting attorney here, would go onto star as alien Martin O'Hara in My Favorite Martian.

Myron McCormick's role in this episode, that of an alcoholic disbarred attorney, is very similar to the one he played on an episode of The Untouchables entitled The Frank Nitti Story.

Telly Savalas would return in A Savage in Darkness. He would go onto achieve TV immortality in the classic CBS crime drama Kojak playing a character on the good side of the law.
