      • (Dori cleans Caitlin up after she falls from Bandit)
Caitlin: (referring to their argument earlier) I'm not apologizing.
Dori: I didn't ask you to. Although your behavior--
Caitlin: (interrupting) My behavior is my business! (calming down) I already had my first dance. Last spring. My foster parents told me that they thought I'd have a good time and I believed them. I stand up against the wall like an idiot and I watch all the girls get asked to dance. No one ever asked me. No one even looked at me. Not once.
Dori: I didn't know. You can't let your fear run your life. You have to get back on the horse. But you're right. It's not my decision to make. It's yours.

      • Griffen's friend: (mockingly) Hey Paul! You got a date for the dance?
Paul: (shyly) I gotta go to class. (he walks away and others mock him)
Caitlin: (slams Griffen's friend into a locker and says insincerely) Sorry.

      • Griffen: Taylor
Brett: Three words for you. Haven't. Got. A. Clue.
        Griffen: That's four words
Brett: Being able to count would help.

      • Caitlin: Some things a dead man once said - 'No man is like an island.' He obviously never went to junior high.
