  • This is getting to fast... to early... at least a whole season too soon.... Hanks potential as the messed up guy aint used out yet!!!

I am gonna write this from a male perspective... we almost all were done that road, maybe not with that much girls, but we all broke up with our girls we really loved, we hit then rock bottom and we got our sh*t back together... and from that moment everything was back at the right way...

But for the sake of this show... its happening too fast, I mean I like it, I like those characters... and I know this was the step for Hank and his beloved one to take, but so soon... is Hank on his way for family-papa already? Or is this going to be his nail in the coffin?

I really liked messed up Hank from episode 1... I liked the idea of someone beeing totally messed up but still cool, somehow. I liked the offensive and offendive tone of the show, but slowly it turns to become family entertainment... with the moral, that what ever makes you and your close ones happy, just do it.

I somehow get the feeling this show has too fast evolved, Hank got what he wanted too fast... whats going to be next? He and his beloved secretly dating? Or maybe she letting him fall finally... there has got to be another ending... I believe the potential of messed up Hank has not been used out, but the potential of Hank the shiny knight on the white horse (even when its still entertaining) is slowly getting less and less entertaining... There has been on the forum a lot of talk if Heroes jumped the shark in the season finale... I am afraid that this could be it for this show... a few more episodes and its gone be like melrose place... and that means: BAD, BAD TV. Bring back the freshness, spice it up... and don't tell the whole story in 12 episodes... there is far more potential to this show!

But I still liked the episode ;)

After every episode of Californication, you wonder to yourself, what strides did this episode make? How much progress has been made in the story and characters? Sometimes there's close to none of those things aside from incremental character development, but at the same time that's the whole charm to it; a slice of life comedy revolving around a guy who has a fvcked up life fvcking a lot of girls doing so. That scene in the beginning where he hooks up with a random girl who steals his guitar the next morning, it doesn't feel like it was necessary, but it showed just how spontaneous and fvcked up Hank's life was. Charlie's sex life the same; not to mention it was pretty damn hilarious.
  • Once again, another great episode of Californication. All the characters are growing on me, although Hank is abrilliant character, it's almost too bad that we don't more of the other character, but then the show only lasts 20 minutes.

Once again, another great episode of Californication. consistently good. All the characters are growing on me, although Hank is abrilliant character, it's almost too bad that we don't more of the other character, but then the show only lasts 20 minutes.

There was a turning point when Hank's ex wife was asked by her daughter, if she still loves Hank... She's definitely getting closer to him. Somehow, you know that the fact Hank slept with Mia, is gonna pop out eventually, and the wedding is probably getting closer...

    Wait and Watch.

I loved the part when Becca played her first gig, this girl is an amazing actress. I know, most series tend to be unrealistic, but she really plays like a teenager.

It's also funny how Hank made me forget about Mulder. Can't wait to see the next episode now.
  • Whole show is great, and iam happy cause finally i can watch ironical and 'different' show

this one was realy great, but i have two reproach.

First is when Hank go to pick up Mia , and on the exit he put off cigarette on teacher chests.

    - Hank is no guy who solve his problems on fisical way , he is muc better on intelectual level ... he is not a fighter type

Second is when Hank rejecting sex with Mia all time. Ok maybe i am wrong , but comeon, he fak everything what is on two legs an than he rejecting young nice lady. Ok, once again maybe iam wrong with this one.

Because this two disagreement, my score is 9,8.
  • Hank hangs out with a sexy surfer chick. He also watches his daughter's band play, helps Mia out of a jam and kisses Karen.

This show is really incredible. I am reading some of the posts out there and I really think that anyone who says they don't like it or it's "awful" maybe doesn't get the show. I haven't seen a show this smart in years and my one hope f or the writers is that they don't mess it up in years to come. Hank Moody is probably one of my top 2 characters on TV right now I absolutely adore the dynamic he shares with everyone on the show. This episode was great because it shows how much he loves his family and how he is even starting to picture Mia as a daughter. This show makes me feel...
