Californication

Okay, eventually Californication had to slow down a bit and this was that week. The show has been off the charts this season, but this was not part of the reason why. This was simply a filler episode, nothing more, nothing less. The very concept behind tonight's show (Hank Moody catches up with an old friend) is the definition of what a filler episode looks like.



Was it funny? Yes. Was Charlie's boss' house with an inordinate number of male reproductive organ machines funny? Sort of, if you're into prop humor, but was anything tonight really that memorable? Not particularly.
