This was another great episode for Californication. I officially hate Mia, I get it, she's damaged, her dad doesn't pay attention to her, but let's be serious, she is a sociopath and I really dislike her character and what she is doing to Hank and what effects her actions are gonna have on his life, especially his getting back together with Karen. The whole threesome thing was really ridiculous and definitely made me a little uncomfortable, but it was pretty funny when the ladie's walked in on them. I wish Karen would just get her stuff together and get back with Hank cause she clearly loves him and I don't even think she has any real feelings for Bill which is why I am trying to understand why she is getting married to him in the first place. The Dani California assistant is getting on my nerves and I hope she gets hers pretty soon cause I don't like her either. Maybe she and Mia will run away together so I don't have to deal with either one of them anymore.moreless

Hank is going to have problems soon if he doesnt get off his ass soon. The sequence of events in this episode warn us what might become of his fate. But all is not lost in the closing moments of this episodes. It will take a tow truck with tons of brick to rattle this wonderful character. But just wish the writers bring together hank and his wife as soon as possible coz it might become the best episode of all. Mia is soon goin to be a main stay in this series the way things are shaping up. Best of luck guys.moreless

    • Hank: Are you questioning things? Are you having doubts? Karen: I question everything, it's very healthy. Hank: It is very healthy, but if you are questioning things and having doubts, maybe you shouldn't just, you know, rush into the wedding. Maybe you should postpone the fucking wedding. What's the rush? Karen: I can't do that. Hank: Look, I never said that you had to choose between me and William the Conqueror. I...I just think you can't run off and marry a guy after making sweet love to yours truly. Edit
    • Marcy: Wait, what kind of ring did Bill get you again? Oh that's right, none. Karen: It's on order, okay? It's, it's, it's very special. It's a Canadian diamond. Yes. Marcy: Ooh. Are they good with the diamonds, the Canadians? I thought just the bacon. Edit
    • Mia: Are you finished yet? Dani: Hold on. Mia: Ugh. It's just a novella. Are you one of those people who move their lips when they read? Because that can really slow you down. Edit

    • Dani: (to Mia) Can you imagine the headlines? "Sixteen Year-Old Girl Writes Smartest, Sexiest Novel Since Lolita." Lolita is a 1955 novel written by Russian Vladimir Nabokov. The book's plot involves an older man who gets involved with a preteen girl. Edit
    • Hank: (to Karen, referring to Bill) Look, I never said that you had to choose between me and William the Conqueror. William the Conqueror was the nickname of William I, the king of England from from 1066 to 1087. He claimed the throne by invading England and leading an army past King Harold II and his forces. Edit
    • Charlie: (to Hank) This is cool, us hanging out here, right? It's like, uh, like, uh, Raoul Duke and Dr. Gonzo, right? This is a reference to the the 1998 movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, which was based on a 1971 book written by Hunter S. Thompson. Johnny Depp played the role of Duke, and Benicio Del Toro played Gonzo. The movie is about a road trip to Las Vegas, during which the two encounter many problems as they take various drugs. Edit
