  • Hank moves in with Ashby when he gets the urge to sleep with Chloe, a cooking show host. Meanwhile Chalie gets his porno client a job!

This show continues to make me laugh from title to title and this ep was no different. After getting dumped by Karen, Hank moves in with Ashby. As Ashby is watching a cooking TV show, Hank gets a desire to have hate sex with the host Chloe. Ashby hears his desire and promises to make Hank's dream come true.

Meanwhile Charlie's antics in the van with the porno star have come back to haunt him. She has now been "blackballed" and can't get a job. Charlie feels bad and promises to get her back into porn in no time. His wheeling and dealing makes it a reality but has be invest money into the film for it to be made. this turn in the plot provides a few laughs but the real laughs come from Hank and his lay of the week Chloe.

Chloe is as loud in person as she is on TV and this makes Hank's sex scene with her undoubtably the funniest scene in the whole ep, with her speaking trash left right and centre. She also has a fetish for food so much that it comes a sex toy (great chocolate!)and you soon see that she is more trouble than she is worth. Not to say that this ep is all laughs, there are some softer moments where it is visible that Hank wants his happily ever after with Karen. All the while she wants the same thing but she fights it off. You can't help but find Hank to be a great guy but at the same time frown on his methods. This is a top ep and continues the trend that this series has made for itself of quality week after week!
  • Charlie helps Daisy get a role, Hank sleeps with a cooking show host

After a minor setback last week Californication returned to top-form here. The scene with Charlie at the waxing parlor was absolutely incredible. So many great lines from being referred to as "the guy who masturbated in his office" to his interpretation of what the term "blackballed" means.

Not the greatest Hank performance although he did have some hilarious lines. He's really channeling the Larry David on Curb Your Enthusiasm personality, although in a much dirtier way. Carla Gallo (Freaks and Geeks) as Daisy is really starting to become enjoyable on the show as well.

All in all a fine example of Californication and more proof that Showtime is one of the best stations out there right now.
