'Tis the day after Christmas and all through the channels are repeats and bowl games and Charlie Brown specials, except for one station they call TechTV, where a puffy-haired gnome's on a "Call for Help" spree. He's helping, he's yelping, he's answering your calls. He's twitching, he's shaking, "More coffee!" he bawls. The producers are passed out, asleep at the switches, while Pirillo, our hero, keeps the viewers in stitches. A giant of a man (if only he were taller), Chris stares down the camera and greets the next caller. "Phil from Tuscon, your hard drive is buzzing?" "Anne from Des Moines, your cables aren't 'scuzzy'?" "No problem," Chris cries, "I'm here to help," despite his lack of sleep and strict diet of kelp. Six more hours! Will he make it?
