The more I watch this show, the more I feel like it belongs as a really high class SyFy original, rather than a moderately out of place Starz. Then in the last five minutes we get some nip, just for good measure. Before I begin, I'd like to commend Eva Green. Throughout the series she, and the guy who plays Merlin, seem like they are just having the greatest time ever. Joseph Fiennes-- Merlin-- is probably just happy people will stop calling him the guy from FlashForward. Anyway, the episode finishes up the story line started last time with the country's king going solo against fair amount of disgruntled mercs. Yes, the king, because that makes any sense. Luckily, Leo charges back into the action with the other members of the Bro-squad. Not surprisingly, he dies saving the king from the last remaining guy, firing his last remaining arrow-- that is merc dedication, especially since he gets butchered almost right afterwards. Cliches aside, I always wonder why these hired-swords are so committed. I would have hauled ass a long time ago, but somehow this guy thinks he'll be all right. This takes up about 40 minutes. The next ten is basically a massacre of characters-- the cast being torn down to the Bro-squad basically. And Gwen, can't forget the homewreckers. That about covers it. Oh and Morgan has sex with her brother. Yeah, that happened.moreless
