  • The show only ran for half a season and was mostly seen as a summer replacement. This dramatic Anthology series had unique possibilities on tv. It had live plays but very little on the set. There were mostly closeups to hide the rest of the stage.

The Focus on this series was on individual actors. The plays were both original and adoption for tv. The first telecast was by Arthur Miller called \"It Takes A Thief\". One of the first mini-series was an adoption of Ibsen\'s \"Peer Gynt\' which was a 3 parter.
From a Howard Richardson play there was "Dark On the Moon" on January 6, 1951.
