Camp Kidney is slated for demolition, so Lazlo and his friends try to prevent this from happening. To do so, Lazlo, Clam, Raj, and Patsy must find the rock of hope, which leads to the big bean scout jamboree. They do so, and they meet the big bean (who is puny) and says that he shut down Camp Kidney. After Raj reads Lazlo's neckerchief and it says a poem, the big bean opens up its heart, reopening Camp Kidney. I thought that this was a perfect special of "Camp Lazlo". While this episode really didn't have much humor but that really isn't important to me though. I love this episode because of the enjoyable and how well written the storyline turned out to be. The only two parts that did make me laugh was Lazlo talking to the Big Bean because it was getting quiet for a few seconds (in his dream) and the very ending of the special. I enjoyed that bean (who turned out to be the Big Bean's cousin) opening up his heart and deciding to re-open Camp Kidney after the message on Lazlo's handkerchief. Everything about this special was just wonderful and I loved seeing Patsy being on this adventure with the Jelly Beans. Overall, a perfect 30-minute special of "Camp Lazlo". 10/10moreless
  • It's all right... Actually: IT ROCKED!

    9.0
I like the fact that Camp Lazlo finally got a full length episode now! This episode was shocking in the beginning - CAmp Kidney gets taken away?! Astounding. When Ms. Doe finally took them in and told the Squirrel Scouts they would be catered too, I just thought "Uhh... okay... That really doesn't seem fair..."

Anyway, I thought the French Guy reminded me of Monty Python and the Holy Grail very much. Classic humor! And oblivion! What could be better? And seriously, what is an "arithmalete?" Math camp looks a Siberian maximum-security prison! I think I'm going out of line here, so I'll just leave to you. I thought the ending was was tear-jerking and humorous all at the same time!moreless

  • This was everything I hoped for and more.

    9.7
This episode centered around one theme: The Same might be lame, but the New is sometimes worse. Camp Kidney has been closed, and is being prepared to be demolished. Miss Doe of Acorn Flats graciously welcomes the Beans into her camp and tries to get them to a new camp. Luckily, Lazlo isn\\\'t about to let that happen. Neither are Clam, Raj, or Patsy, who go out on an adventure to save Camp Kidney. I was really glad with what Patsy did, because she started acting truly caring instead of annoying as she had been a few times previously. And, of course, Edward was great with being happy about leaving Camp Kidney...and then finding out that their next location would be Math Camp. The horror!

    Wonderful, wonderful episode.moreless
  • When Camp Kidney is shutdown, Lazlo and his pals are determined to save their beloved camp.

    9.5
The second season finale of Camp Lazlo did rather well than I expected, and I was also surprised to see this was the first episode to be half-hour than the usual eleven minute shorts.

"Hello Summer, Goodbye Camp" starts off when the bean scouts are heading to Camp Kidney once again, when, to their surprise, they find the camp closed, forcing them to stay in Acorn Flats. While trying to adjust to their situation, Lazlo has a vision that, in order to save Camp Kidney, he must head to one Bean camp in the mountains to make sure that Camp Kidney stays open. So Lazlo, Raj, Clam (and Patsy) are determined to make this a goal to be accomplished.

With areas explored for the first time, characters with little but better roles, this episode has become a fav to be watched.moreless
