Sorry lae10 but all of the songs would be titled as Pop. Disney tries to make these songs come across as Rock/Hip-Hop but are definitely not the actual thing. 'Pop' stands for 'Popular'. Pop music contains a certain formula and that produces happy, cookie-cutter, catchy music that always turns out to be very popular among tweens. Hasta La Vista, Start the Music and What It Takes all have those forumlas. Theyre pop music. Sorry.

THANK YOU! Someone actually agrees with me lol. I feel like people are ganging up on me saying that all the songs are pop. They aren't. Disney doesn't do just pop music. And not all of the songs in Camp Rock are pop. No one's gonna change my mind, and I'm gonna keep telling people that.

It's Disney Channel. Did anyone really expect to hear anything but pop music?

Pop rock is stuff like Phil Collins or Death Cab for Cutie. The Jonas Brothers are POP. The music in the movie was POP. No rock.

You know what? You people are making me wish I had never found this section of TV.com. I originally joined TV.com because of Code Lyoko.

Then why do you go to the Code Lyoko forum? I mean you can stay in the Camp Rock forum if you want, but if you're getting annoyed then leave.

Well then they should have named it Camp hip hop or something. They also shouldn't have said "this movie features many types of music: rock,..." and finally you can't have a rock along woth no rock. Ok now that I've ranted I'm letting it go.

its supposed to be like they rock out. not listen or sing rock music.
