I've never seen a bunch of police officers with such contempt for the people they work for. Yes some kids are dumb, drunk or cocky but the overwhelming majority of police officers working on the campus genuinely hate the kids they work with: threats, snark comments, "I am the law and can never be wrong" attitude and just enjoying arresting kids for the most trivial offenses.
THESE COPS ARE MORE PATHETIC IN THIS SHOW THEN THE OTHERS SHOWS LIKE COPS OR SERVE AND PROTECT. THIS SHOW IS ***ED AND SHOULD BE CANCELED. ITS ACTUALLY A GOOD LAUGH, WATCHING THESE PIGS BUST PEOPLE THAT ARE UNDER AGE DRINKING... GO BUST SOME REAL CRIMINALS! SHOWS HOW PATHETIC THE COPS IN NORTH AMERICA ARE. F***ING LOOSERS!!!!!!!!!!
The show "Cops" premiered in 1989, and immediately became popular for its simple premise: follow police officers in the course of their everyday work. The unflinching show has since filmed the officers in cities across the country, and has inspired many copies. It can be said that "Campus PD" would not exist without its famous precedent, yet there is enough potential in the new show to make it worth watching on its own. The officers in towns such as Chico, California and Tallahassee, Florida grapple with some of the same problems. One very common issue is drinking and massive public parties that can quickly spin out of control. Fights break out, people's behavior may get violent, bizarre or stupid, and someone has to call for help. Here come the police. It is interesting to see the difference in the tone of certain situations. Depending on whether or not the students are willing to cooperate, they may receive anything from a ticket and a stern warning to a place in the back of a patrol car. Some people can't handle their liquor. Others cave in to peer pressure. Still others have anger problems or just don't seem to think about their actions. At this stage of their lives, some can be helped... and some may have to learn the hard way. I can't tell whether or not it's ironic that they chose "Police on my Back" by the Clash to be the theme song of this show. Well, it's a great song, so enjoy the chance to hear it. With the addition of more locales, so we can meet a greater range of people, this series may be around for another twenty years too.
