  • I must say I'm a little irked that everything I read about this episode said the same thing; major secrets revealed, lots of love-making---and there was none....what happened?

I must say I'm a little irked that everything I read about this episode said the same thing; major secrets revealed, lots of love-making---and there was none....what happened? Regardless, it's an episode you can't miss- it's hilarious and the Naley scenes are adorable. The movie is just ok.but not superb!!
  • This comprehensive documentary history of Canada was a huge undertaking, and the result is a beautifully filmed, mildy interesting, and somewhat meandering look at Canadian history, with focus on people in the past.moreless

Beautifully filmed and very polished, "Canada: A People's History" is arguably the most comprehensive documentary of Canadian history ever produced. Beginning with the First Nations of Canada and concluding with the dawn of the 21st century, the show garnered a large audience - an impressive feat for a history documentary.

While the actors portraying historical figures do a good job, the tone of the documentary is sometimes a little monotonous. With the show's focus on people and themes, the show sometimes becomes sidetracked from the chronology and dwells on minor incidents at the expense of the bigger picture.moreless
