Canadian Idol

Okay, so the guys paid attention last week and most improved. I peg this show as being better than last week, but not as good as two weeks ago. That's still an improvement though.



Rob and Sheldon appeared to have the biggest improvement over the week before. Finally, as the judges said, we got to see the real Rob James. The Rob James that has previously sold records. The Rob James that I've been waiting for. Hopefully, the voters will agree and Rob will make the Top 10.



Meanwhile, Sheldon did something that got the crowd into it right off the top. That is excellent. I know a lot of people are not fond of his looks or voice, but he is Top 10 material to me. Tonight, he showed everyone that I am right. Bang On!



Craig, who will make the Top 5 simply because he's a cute Newfie, royally sucked relative to the rest of the crowd. I saw the blatant vote fixing by the judges who all want him to finish in the top 3. His performance (as good as he's been in the past) was the worst of the night. It was off key many times and beyond underwhelming. So sad, too bad, but he'll be around even though he did not earn it tonight.



Chad needs to go. I have no clue why people think he's any good. He's better than many of the other Top 200 guys, but he again proved that everyone else in the room is better than him. Since the judges didn't agree I doubt Canada will either. However, he is my first choice to go.



My second choice to say ciao is Tyler Lewis. I have no clue why people like him either. He did a karaoke song tonight, which gets the crowd into it, but I don't think it will gain him votes. Time to say buh-bye.



Keith I also like (even if he does look like a tall Seth Green), but not as much as the judges. He is Top 10 material, but will be gone at best by Top 5. He is good, but not Idol good. The exact same thing could be said about Brandon, with the exception that Keith is better than Brandon. They're middle of the pack guys.



Overall, I was better impressed by both the guys and the girl, while the guys still didn't do as well as they did the first week.
