  • Just as bad as the guys this week.

That was another underwhelming episode by the ladies. Pretty much they were as boring as the guys this week, and as boring as they were last week.

I found it odd that Nancy Silverman is being lauded. I do not really like her. Sure, she would do well on stage in a musical (as would Stephie), but that does not make her an Idol. In both live performances she showed only that she could mimic the singer that originally sang that song.

Speaking of Stephie, she would be great as a lead in musicals. Her voice is wonderful, and she knows how to work a stage, but I keep thinking about Frenchy (from Grease). She is a better singer, in my opinion, than Didi Conn though. That doesn't make her an Idol either; it just means she still needs to find her niche. At least she wore pants for a change. That can only help.

Alyssa appeared to get roasted by most of the judges, and I agree with them. She only made it this far because the Francophone vote got split last week. I doubt she will be as lucky this week, at least she should not be as lucky.

None of the ladies stood out to me this week. No one was really good and no one was really bad. And that is not a good thing. Wednesday's show will let us know which two of these underwhelming ladies gets to go home this week. I know I can't wait.
