  • All of a sudden, I remember this is Reality TV* (*read: FAKE)

Jaydee looked very surprised the sound was not the same as during the soundcheck. Welcome to reality TV baby. You scared the judges last week with your performance. They cannot take the chances to have a Non-Popmusic-Idol. The public might become original all of a sudden and stop watching the show. Whatever, the bottom line is, Jaydee's performance was not at all convincing and something tells me that if he did not put the effort on stage, it's most likely that he knew he was being sabotaged. At that point, what can you do. He gave his best so far and that's how they say thank him.

I tought Dwight showed a certain Vulnerability like the judges often refer to. The funny thing is that usually when people show vulnerability, they go home. I liked Dwight performance, but at the same time, I don't know if people will remember it. A nice Guess Who song, that did not give him the opportunity to move that much on the stage. I think this is what people expect from Dwight's performance. Intensity. If a performance is white, Judges are going to say black or what. Brian Melo was not that confident on stage. Maybe he was confident he would break his microphone stand, but that's about it. He was shakin' like a leaf. People consider this intensity? He chose a song from a big big artist, and I did not feel anything. I must admit that there was a difficulty factor about this performance that I can appreciate. Brian's got very good vocals. I know this guy is a good and talented singer. I just don't feel him up to now. But he's cute !

Greg suffered Zak's cheap comment. I usually sort of agree with Mister Spandex Rock. Just not tonight. Not at all ! I really had the impression that those comments are only for the purpose of troubling the Reality Show. I don't feel it's honnest at all. Or maybe Zak simply know nothing about music except for the Spandex department, but why would he be judge in the first place?

Greg choose a Johnny Cash song I really like. The arrangement were really interesting. I think there was also a difficulty factor here, and he really pulled it off easily. I really think Greg is a talented artist, and I hope he will not believe whatever lies this show is meant to propagate.

Matt is on a class of his own. So young and talented. Charisma is developing. Such a strong and passionate vocal. This guy loves what he does and he outshined evrybody.

Again the comments on Khalila sounded fake to me. Especially Ben. I tought Ben was weird hosting the show all night. I don't know what he was on, but he was not professionnal. Poor Khalila, it sounded so not sincere. But it was a Khalila night. All judges agree to be super nice with her and tell her she was good. She was regular good to me. I liked her look, but it's a singing competition. Not that she can't sing. I just find it a bit cold. I did not find anything amazing in her vocals. Of course she is way much better than me !

Martha was stiff as hell ! This is the only comment I agreed on last night. Man is she 16 or 60? I don't know, but man it was mechanicaly boring. Such a cool song that's been massacred . I'm saying it again, stop screaming, there are other ways to wake us up !

I was scared at first when I learned what Carly would sing. But as usual she got my attention. I love her artistic ways and her loungee sound. It's always interesting watching her because you never know what she is going to come up with. She don't always have total control on her voice, but overall it blends with everything else quite smoothly. Carly, you win the originality price so far in this competition. You are not just another clone ! Thanks for being there !

Did not like Tara as much as the judges. Again I did not feel those comments were sincere. Another very very regular performance. If this girl was 200 pounds with curly brown hair and glasses, would she still be in the competition? Be honnest, and ask yourself the question. You know what, we should close her eyes when we listen to her. I'm telling you her vocal is very regular. I am not saying this to be mean, I really thing she needs to improve her vocals. She seems like a very nice girl, this is not the problem.

I hope judges will be more honnest next week and that the directors and/or producers stop taking the public for idiots !moreless
