That wasn't that funny, and it seems to me that artist couldn't hold back their extreme jealousy over the success of Family Guy. Man I wish south park would get back to its roots of coming up with original funny content than playing politics every show.

Man I wish south park would get back to its roots of coming up with original funny content than playing politics every show. I mean so what if family guy rips people off, shit everyone rips someone off, somewhere along the line, south park even admitted this in one of my favorite episodeS.
If you like a wholesome love story that is full of surprises and a bit of history, you will love Candy Candy. I am a big fan of Candy Candy and have found some great illustrations of her. To see it go here > http://candycandyfans.ning.com/.
I highly recommend it. The whole TV series is 115 episodes long. It is a story about a little orphan girl who grew up facing numerous challenges/problems in life but still manage to keep her spirits high. She was hated and loved by many people. She is very lucky in that she has a beautiful face and personality which virtually every guys who meets her cares very much for her. She is sweet and courageous. Sometimes she is a bit too naive and forgets who really can harm her too easily. Overall I would highly recommend everyone to watch it. Be sure to keep your tissues nearby for a few tears. :) You can check out some of her illustrations here > http://candycandyfans.ning.com/
I saw Candy Candy in my childhood and beacuse of it I undestrood the meaning of "Drama"...
Imagine a little orphan girl whom falls in love at first sight with her "prince" and she never see him again, later she met a boy who seems exactly like her prince and she discover a sweet and inocent love, they were happy untiil he dies in a horse accident. Then, the family who adopted her sent her to London to study and to help her move on.... There she finds her true love, a guy who is a "bad boy" but in the bottom he's a tender and sweet guy and both falls in love but a mean girl set them a trap and they got separated, he flees to New York because in that way he couldnt hurt her anymore and he could become an actor too like his mother. She rather to follow him insted to stay in London, so she quit of her fortune and becomes into a nurse... Finally she coulnt stay with him because he has to get married with a girl who saved his life and got quadriplegic...
At the end she has to return to the house where she grew up to take care of children like her.
Now I know why I'm so dramatic!!! jajaja anyway believe it or not Candy Candy had also moments of happyness and laughter, I recomend it to you!!!
I was 6-7 or at most 8 when I wathed this. If you were in my age you would be affected. With a big chance it affected the way I look at romance. Probably she is the reason why I love romance this much.
Candy was a candy girl with her teenage problems. I don't remember a lot about this but her first boyfriend was dead by falling down from a horse. Then Candy was very very sad. Her problems were like normal teenage girls. There was a girl hated her so much 'cause of a boy loves Candy. It wasn't comedy exactly but certainly dramatic.
Candy, Candy, is the story about an orphan girl, it starts when she is a yound kid, and "ends" when she is an adult.
The viewer grows up as she does, and each episode captures you because they are fulled of emotions.
I don't think there are many cartoons out there that can make you laugh and cry. It makes you froget about your day for half an hour. You actually get inside the story.
I watched it about ten years ago, and I still remember it! It really had an impact on me, and I know a lot of peoople that feel like I do.
Hopefully, all the legal problems will solve soon so that we can have it again on the air.
I Love Candy Candy! I first saw it in Italy in the 80\'s , i miss it like crazy...i grew up with it and now they are fighting in courts about it and it sucks!
it was such a sweet cartoon , and Candy was always so nice to everyone , even thougth the family that adopted her treated her so badly and made her sleep outside...so cruel!
However she pulled through became a nurse .
with 115 episodes...i still want to see more!
i want to see if she gets married...i mean something!
i love this anime and i really would like to see it back on tv or at least dvd .
Candy is a very nice, warm-hearted and cheerful girl. When she was a little child, she lived in an orphanage until she is adopted by a very influential big clan. Then she set off alone finding true love.
Candy is a very good friend of the teenagers Annie, Archie, Stear and Anthony. Anthony, the \"prince on the hill\" becomes an important person in her life. Though she and Terence love each other very much, she leaves him because another girl, who is hopelessly in love with him, needs him more. Finally she devotes herself to Albert, a handsome young man and a very good friend of her.
They used to air this show in both America and Korea (where I come from). It was canceled while my mom was in High School, and that was in the early 90's. There are Korean novels of the show in the Coquitlam Public Library. It was great!
They used to air this show in both America and Korea (where I come from). It was canceled while my mom was in High School, and that was in the early 90's. There are Korean novels of the show in the Coquitlam Public Library. It was great! It was classic, hilarious, and adventurous. There are new adventures around every turn for Candy. She was found on the doorstep of an orphanage as a little girl in the winter. When a girl found her, they called her Candice White, since she was found in the snow. Her nickname was Candy. When she recieved a letter from her friend from the orphanage (who happened to be recently adopted) saying that they are not allowed to see each other again, Candy gets depressed, and encounters a boy, who cheers her up. But when she turns to say thanks, the boy is gone.
