I was watching a show last night and it had said that filming for Cane was at a standstill because of the writers strike picket line being too noisy and near their filming site. Would this mean less episodes this season or what?

This whole writers strike is getting extremely messy!

I wish networks would just give in and give them more money! They aren't going to back down until they do ... and can networks really jeopardize losing shows such as Grey's Anatomy, Brothers and Sisters, The Office, House, etc.???? I mean, the new shows, while they are most of my favorites, don't hold as large of a fanbase as some of the veteran shows, and I just can't believe they would really jeopardize any future money making, just for a pay increase. What are they going to do, keep showing reruns, allowing their ratings to fall, just to have to bring them all the way back up??? They are digging theirselves a very deep hole, and there's no telling when it will end.

I agree with you. I would hate to see a new and any old show lose out on fan base due to money. Go figure.

forgive me for not having a quote or a link but I read somewhere that Cane is in good shape with the amount of episodes. They are ahead of schedule and were wrapping up all 13 ordered episodes. Most shows have completed anywhere from 7-10 new episodes. I don't know when they will air or if CBS will give it a full season once the strike is over but regardless we should be able to see about 6 more new episodes which is more than most other shows.

If the strike continues and CANE is ahead it could be good for this show .... people that haven't seen it or see other ones may tune in. I hope this show makes it.

I also hope this show makes it but I would rather see it on HBO without commercial interruptions and language befitting an adult drama which it is.

I like Cane cause the language is really kept down.

Cane is in a pretty good spot, and I've heard of only one disturbance, and I'm sure they moved the shooting spot.
