Welcome to the Canterbury Tales guide at TV.com. These Canterbury Tales are Geoffrey Chaucer's stories updated to the present day. Producer Kate Barlett wanted to remain as faithful as possible to the spirit of the original tale. Each tale was scripted by a different writer and like the original tales they embody the timeless themes of love, lust, greed, power, anger and bigotry.moreless

Canterbury Tales blew past my expectations. At first, I had expected same old same old plot development but twist after turn of excitement and action just way exceeded my expectations. Mind you, there were some problems (most discontinuity issues) that I don't have the time to mention but all in all, above 9.
