Tag Team Trouble
Princess Toadstool has asked Toad to deliver one million gold coins to the Mushroom Orphanage. Lugging around such a heavy load is difficult, especially with King Koopa and Cheatsy nearby. Tired, he falls asleep on the orphanage's doorstep. The head of the orphanage collects the coins while he sleeps, but upon waking up, Toad fears the worst. Ashamed of supposedly failing Princess Toadstool and the orphans, he wants to make things right. Fortunately, a tag team wrestling match is scheduled and the grand prize is one million gold coins. Toad's wrestling cousins agree to help him out, but King Koopa and Cheatsy also want that prize money. They ensure the two wrestlers won't be able to compete forcing Mario and Luigi to fill-in. Will they be any match for the Koopas' team the Sledge Brothers?moreless
In "Tag Team Trouble", when Mario and Luigi grab the Starmen near the end of the episode, their wrestling costumes mysteriously vanish. As if that's not enough, they stop flashing right when they jump in the ring, but continue to be invincible (as evidenced by the music).
