Look, up in the sky! It's a bird, it's a plane, it's: Captain Nice, and he's flying home as fast as he can to take out the trash before his mother grounds him. I still remember watching this as a small boy Monday nights on WMAQ Channel 5-Chicago (was that really William Daniels?). It immediately followed Mr. Terrific, though they were on two different networks. They were very similar shows, and both premiered and ended at about the same time, much like The Munsters and The Addams Family, though the latter two were more popular and lasted longer.
It's been 40 years since I've seen either Captain Nice or its sister program. As I said on the Mr. Terrific forum, they were both campy and aimed primarily at kids, and would have lasted longer had demographics been employed as a ratings tool in the 1960s. How "Nice" it would be to see them again, just for the sake of nostalgia.
