    I've been a fan of the show since it debuted.  For those that notice, Captain Planet glitters/sparkles when he flies around.  For the life of me, I cannot understand why.  I assume it is because he is derived from the purities of earth, which is squeaky clean, and he represents this.  Does anyone else have a theory?

    Probably to make the kids think he's one of a kind.  Something like that sets kids off and tells them that this guy is either a hero or he's something spectacular.  You know how kids are.

    He is made of crystals, and gets his powers from he sun, so the sunlight will reflect off him when he flies, creating said effect.
