Is there a reason Boomerang never runs them?

I guess since season 6 is so different, at least by animation, from the others, they don't run it in syndication as much. When it was on Cartoon Network, I rarely saw season 6. I watch them online

Wikipedia says that Season 6 didn't air in the United States until 2006, but I think that's wrong. I know I saw "Frog Day Afternoon" during the show's original run back in the 90's. Does anyone else (in the United States) remember seeing any Season 6 episodes in the 90's?
