Dr. Blight attacks Hope Island, utilizing a smog-fueled barge. She creates a huge dome over the island and feeds her smog supply into the dome, creating a "greenhouse" effect which threatens Gaia's life and that of the Island. If things couldn't get any worse, the greenhouse effect prevents the Planeteers from activating their powers and calling on Captain Planet. The Planeteers work to escape their domed environment and summon earth's protector to stop Blight cold.moreless

      • This is the only time that a "messenger" (in the form of a robin) was sent to deliver the message that Captain Planet was needed. However, it doesn't make sense because where did the bird go? It couldn't go past the force field, and robins can't swim, so how did Cap get the message that the Planeteers were summoning him?

      • Blight knows where Hope Island is...HOW exactly? and why hasn't she attacked the island again? Not unless Gaia created a cloaking device to shield the island from further detection
