Pretty average overall episode. Eco-emergency with an environmental message attached. Blah blah blah.
The thing about this episode was that there was nothing that really stood out. No especially endearing mangling of the English language by Linka (Why is Linka the only one that has considerable trouble with the English language if they're all from different continents? Kwame, Gi, and Ma-Ti are all from non-English-speaking nations as well, and it seems that Ma-Ti and Kwame, at least, came from small villages, so why do they only have limited accents in comparison? That's an argument for another day...).
Anyway....nothing cute from Linka, only the average amount of cheesiness from the Captain ("Howdy Partnerteers!"), and the whole story was resolved quite easily. Sure, we don't really know WHY Looten Plunder and some others are against subsistence farming (Loss of government subsidies? Give me a break. Real farmers care about their land and their animals. The less government, the better).
Overall, pretty average, if even that.moreless
