      • Before the commercial break, Josh, Pete, and the Planeteers get caught in a sand storm. After the break, they've all been split up, and Ma-ti has to use his ring to find them. This makes no sense, as they were all TOGETHER to start with.

      • The first time Cap is summoned, he takes Greedly and Rigger's off road hogs to be recycled. But later in the show, they're riding in them again.

        Greedly: Planet! You can't do this! You know how much those babies set me back?

      • There are two versions of the first sequence where Captain Planet is summoned. In the version currently being used, the cloud rotating above the Planeteers remains constant, and the Planeteers are still visible underneath it. Also, their powers are the correct color. In the original version, the cloud expands, taking up the entire shot, and the Planeteers are not visible. Their powers are all blue (the sequence was probably rushed when put together) before disappearing under the cloud as well.

      • Captain Planet's entrance when summoned: 1st time: lava effects, surrounded by a gray cloud. 2nd time: orange lava effects.

      • Planeteer Alert For This Episode: Preserve the deserts.

      • In syndication, this was the 10th episode of the 2nd season following The Big Clam Up.
