  • One of the few episodes that didn't have an eco-villain.

    Captain Planet & The Planeteers rescue a boat from a storm. So the passenger (Senor Cisneros) treats them to a stay at his hotel in South America. Ma-Ti learns that life can be rough for those who are poor, and that he helps a kid along the way.

    The two things that made this episode so cool;

    1). Captain Planet ridin the waves on a surfboard. Cowabunga, dude!

    2). Kwame sportin a pair of Speedos! What was Hanna-Barbera thinking? Sure, Kwame looked like a hottie. At least he would beat out Homer & Bart Simpson when they sported the swimwear on their South American episode!
